Why does everyone leap on the fact that France lost the bid for the Olympics, but completely forget the fact that a)Britain is involved in the war in Iraq, and b) the G8 summit is going on in the UK right now? Given those two items, it seems completely ridiculous that some French group would orchestrate a four-pronged terrorist attack because they lost the bid for the Olympics.

What he said.. I keep hearing people accusing the French which I also find ridiculous. On the news they said "more than 37", I think its just that they've found 37 dead? Just guessing. Yeah, after the first attack they shut off cellular phone networks because they thought that would be another way to set off another bomb, and they think they've prevented a few from happening that way happy.gif

Sorry, but I don't have to know you "too well" to still think it was rude. *shrugs* I'm sorry if that offends you, but your comment offended me. And how was i using the fact that you were an advisor it against you? I was just stating that it SHOULDN't matter.

Blah this is rediculous. I can't fight over the internet--people who do that make me want to cry. So i'm just going to put this away for now. I still didn't like it _dry.gif but honestly? I really can't care anymore.

I find it amusing people are pointing fingers at the French. No offense, but come on. The French? Get real. Its got the signs of an al Qaeda attack and they're taking credit for it, but I think, at least Americans, are quick to blame al Qaeda. Thats a dangerous thing to do, considering it leaves the actual guilty party free to attack again.
