anyone heard of PIU? pump it up or sumfing. its just like ddr but with 5 feet thingy. its soo much harder coz the arrows are diagonal instead of up down left or rite. but its stil fun and has the bestest songs.
i saw this maaaaad dancing thingy at galaxy world. u use ur hands 2 dance as well wif this lazer beam and has 3 feet thingies instead of 4. it looks soo mad but its really hard.

Pump It Up is more freestyle, DDR is more PA.

Oh, you must be talking about ParaParaParadise.
There are a lot of other Beat/Rhythm games distributed by Konami/Bemani like Beatmania, Pop N Music, Guitar Freaks, DrumMania, DanceManiax, Keyboardmania - you should check them out.

I love DDR, Stepmania is also good, since I can pick the songs I want and even make my own. I'm not too bad, I usually get from high Bs to AAs on Heavy.

Does anyone play DDR (Dance Dance Revolution)? If so, what's your favorite song to play? What's the hardest song you can beat?

My favorite song would have to be So Deep. I can beat it on Heavy, it's not that great of an accomplishment, but hey, it's a good song. It's a fun song, just really really tiring.

The hardest song I can beat is a toughy... I don't know what's harder, it's an opinion. I guess it would be between Sakura (heavy), Healing Vision (Angelic Mix) (heavy), or Exotic Ethnic (heavy). I can get pretty far on Max 300 heavy and Legend of Max Heavy.

I can also do So Deep on heavy, but my favorite song would be Frozen Ray on heavy cus it's fun

Probably the hardest I've beaten was Drop Out on heavy I cant do any of the maxes though

Yeah, I actually beat Exotic Ethnic on heavy last night. That was an experience, I was really excited. I was doing awesome in Max 300, but my friend pulled me off of the machine because we had to start bowling *sigh*. I got past the pause in the middle of the song. As for So Deep, I find it a really fun song and it really works you out. I guess I also like it because it's so much stuff going on that people get really impressed when you do it. I guess I also like Ecstacy, I think the original mix. Because the second pause is long enough to run around a table or to another machine, run back, and jump over the bar. It's a really lame, but fun trick to do. I really *hate* it when people try to get on the machine when I run off of it though =(

I have DDR Extreme (the green one) and I like 321 Stars. I've only been able to get a B on it though -_-

Wow...DDR. I use to be addicted to that game. I guess you could say I was pretty good. I could basically do most songs on heavy. I think the hardest songs I've cleared were Max 300 and Paranoia Max (I think that's what it's called) both on heavy. I think So Deep and Exotic Ethnic would have to be my most favorite songs I play on that game.

most of the songs are great. I really can't pick one in particular because i don't reamember the name of it . The best i've done was getting a B on one of those challenged-levelled songs.

Heck yes! I have the first version for xbox. The easiest song for me is the game of love i forgot who sings it.

ddr is the best, i even have my own metal pad in my house hooked up to a projector and loaded with stepmania for one crazy ddr experience.

i can do all songs (meaning, higher than C...not just pass) on heavy except for two: the legend of max (consistently get a D), and Paranoia 290 Max (yet to pass, the rhythm is too hard ). Also very close to a AA on Sakura and A on Max 300.

My favorite....i can't pick one, but some include (and yea, all heavy):

-Sakura <-- it was the first 10+ footer I could do.
-Tsugaru <-- very easy, but very fun to dance to.
-Twilight Zone <-- mortal kombat!!!
-Afronova <-- very..exotic feel to it.
-Dam Dariram <-- the song is very good.
-Burning Heat! <-- this was also the hardest for me for a LONG time...but once I got Bs consistently, very fun.

I'm still working on Max 300, I can get up until the pause with probably a B. I've done the beginning so many times that I basically have it memorized. I do have Stepmania, but my computer is so old that it's really laggy. I have one of the PS controller to USB converter, but no metal pad yet. When I get my new computer, I think I'm going to buy two Cobalt Fluxes. Those are awesome pads. Masu_misairu, I, too, love Sakura. It's such an awesome song. Which part in that is your favorite part? Mine would have to be when it gets to the part where it speeds up right after the freeze arrow. So it's not at its fastest, but right after that part it gets really fast. I really screwed up that description, but I think you understand. Does everyone here play Solo? What special options do you turn on when you play?
