there are about 400 million possible combinations for 9 digits... since you cant really brute force IPB, im guessing he cracked my AIM or something.. which would take forever beacause AIM has a 3 second rule... so 400 million combination X 3 seconds = 1.2 billion seconds

unlikely.. and for AIM crackers i think they only make password lists up to 5 or 6 digits and those still take quite a long period of time to do... i doubt there is a list of 9 number combinations

And finally, Bruting goes on through FTP, http methods not IPB.

No exploits or sql injections can be done to IPB.

End of story. 

Brute-forcing can be done against IPB; it's nothing special, it just uses PHP/MySQL, and it is transmitted via HTTP. SQL injections can also be done against IPB, for that matter. It's possible. IPB is quite secure, especially for public forum software built on PHP, and exploits are rare, but they are present.

So, i don't think that they're just making handles to submit their own layouts and then hack into cb to delete them.
