This is basically a test to see if I was able to use imageshack correctly.

The tree is a tutorial I did out of a book on digital character design
and painting.

That's great.

Shading is good, great depth. Also I like the colours.

I've wanted to try some digital painting myself.. Well I have a few times, but no tutorials.

What's the book called?

Thanks all for the nice compliments.

Im not trying to be modest but I cant really take credit
for this creation.
Yes I did do it in Corel Painter IX, but I was following a
tutorial. Which basically means, someone else created it,
but I recreated it following their steps.

Hopefully I will be able to create some of my own soon
and post them here.(I still have more "tut's" to do first.)

Stay tuned! cool.gif

For those interested in digital painting and Corel specifically.
Corel is like walking into an art store and buying every medium available.
(oils,watercolor,pastels,airbrush,charcoal etc.)
Thats my opinion.
