lately i been having pop ups....i ran a virus scan and found out tat my com is suffering frm an adware call adware.elitebar....i had tried using spybot and other etc to remove tat adware but it seems futile .....i hope tat u guys could help me out sad.gif

If it's a bar... as in a SearchBar, go into your Control Panel and click Add/Remove Programs and see if it's listed in there. If it is, delete it.

Otherwise I don't know what to tell you, besides reformatting it.

I think the software you use helps. If it's crappy, then I guess it'd be much harder to remove that adware. If I had 714 adwares that I could delete, I believe you can find a solution in no time. _smile.gif

boot up in safe mode then do a full scan ;)i use spybot+ad-aware
