stroke, help?

i have psp 8 and im following a tutorial and it says to go to edit-->stroke. i cant find it. how can i get to stroke my design? _unsure.gif

are you sure the tutorial isn't for photoshop?

the tutorial is for photoshop but im using psp. im working around what its asking for

its asking to to to edit -->stroke and i cant find it

But Select -> Modify -> Expand selection.

.... Simple solution? Make a new document, 1 pixel bigger on every side, and copy-paste your image.
Make a new layer now, place it behind the original one, and fill with any color you wish.

Or once you're completely done (because this will merge your image) go to image>>add borders.
