i have these 3 best frends [diane, corey, and william], and a lotta the time its like they dont even like me. i mean sometimes i feel like theyre the best ever and then sometimes im jus mad at them for reasons like 'if theyre my supposedly best friends then why do i feel unwanted'? like diane, who out of everyone is my bestbest friend mainly cuz shes a girl and welll .. I'M a girl too, but she doesnt really call me that much to just talk and then this just really bothers me for some reason: if shes inviting me somewhere great and i say i cant go, all she says is OK. i mean if im her friend and she wants us to hang out, she could say something besides just 'okay' with that "ok so she cant come who cares" attitude. before i met diane i had dis best friend named trisha [we just grew apart and dont talk anymore] and if i said i couldnt make a date, she'd tell me all these ways that would convince my parents to let me go, like she actually WANTED me with her. trisha would call me up every day and sometimes we wouldnt even say anything, jus to feel 'connected.' i know i have this problem of constantly comparing diane to trisha, but its just that i sorta miss trisha and i wish diane cared more. and i HATE it whenever i talk to her about my problems or whatever and she gives me stupid answers. it makes me feel all stupid and well.. just 'unwanted. and william is just.. immature i guess. i cant really talk about anything with him, im sorta waiting for him to 'grow up'. and corey is like, really babycute and everything and i get sort of annoyed when diane acts super nice to corey just because hes .. well .. babycute. i mean if i talk crap to her and call her stupid and stuff, she'll get mad and pissed but if corey does that to her, she just laughs.

i just wish i had friends that i could TALK to, people that made me feel better about myself and help me through life. but then i dont want to like, get rid of my friends cause they do make me laugh and be happy at times. i dont know what to do..

If you don't compare Diane to Trisha, she's not so bad. Perhaps she's more easygoing?

Ummm... Well you can always try to find a new bestfriend thats like Trisha but still hang out with Diane, Corey, and William.... Or just talk to Diane about how you don't like the way she acts at times...

Friends. A blessing and a curse. Of late, I've been nothing but pissed at a good friend of mine, one whom I've known for years and trusted with many things. My reasons for this are.....valid, if nothing else. Fortunately, I have managed to meet Megan, the girl I spend a lot of time with. She has become one of my closest friends, if not my closest friend. Which is neither here nor there. The point is, sometimes you need to meet some one else. I'm not saying go meet some random member of the oppostie sex, as I did, but sometimes you just need to meet someone new.

Or you can just become meaner and more assertive than they are. Thats how I keep people I don't like under control. ^.^

For reference, I'm a rather small person. Its funnier that way.

Your friend Diane needs to grow up, but as someone else said - if you stop comparing her to Trisha she does seem alright; except for the Corey part.

Try to make new friends. Compliment someone or make conversation. Always works - and hey, the new person might be a better match for a friend.
