Sorry if this is already posted or w/e but my search engine wont work...
So I like this guy and hes 17. Catch? Im 13. 4 years difference. I mean, like we met at camp and stuff and I've been going for 3 weeks and we've flirted all week. Like he would always be flirting with me and smile and stuff....my question is should I go for it or leave it alone? Like he calls and stuff and idk what to do. And DONT tell me Im young. I know...I know...I know.... |

well its really entirely up to you..
does it feel like he really wants to be with you, or does he plan on just using you because you are younger than him.. just think it over and make sure he feels the same way about you before you do anything |

I'll start off the same way I start off with everyone else,
I CAN'T TELL YOU WHAT TO DO but, I can tell you what will most likely happen. From what you tell me, this guy likes you (let's assume) and one thing I've found out is so true it hurts, is you will feel worse about what you didn't do than about what you did. If you want to, then do it. But here's what you need to expect: 1.He will probably want to do things you havn't done, or want to do.Set him straight just in case because older guys just have this tendency in most cases. 2.He might not be the way he is on the outside, prepare to see more sides to him. 3. He may not realize things about you, such as what normal 13 year olds are like. He could be used to being 17, so it might be a little akward for the both of you. It's not unheard of, there are married couples with a 10 year age diffrence. Make your choice, risk is alway involved ^_^ |

just be careful...my boyfriend is almost 3 years older than me and we have a wonderful relatioship. though i've been around quite a few where there are expectations from one party that the other does not comply with.

this is what you need to ask yourself before you pursue this:
why do i like him? is it because of some superficial thing or do i really feel something? will i be able to date him after camp is over? will i be able to handle things if he wants to take things further? will i be able to say no if i don't want to take things further? are there any consequences and is this worth them? just consider those things and you'll have your answer ![]() four years is no big deal, i dated a guy who was 5 years older than me once |

^^18 is quite a gap, but, it depends. Do what you want. Go for it, and if it turns out to be not all that you hoped for, dump him.

I would just stay friends for now.He could become an important person to you later in life but maybe just not right now? When I was your age I went out with someone who was 17 but it didn't really work out, because of the age difference. It depends on how much you really trust him,and whatever you feel is right for you right now.

my friend is 13 and she's dating a 17 year old.
this depends on what situation you're in, and what your relationship really is with him.. if hes in it because he really loves you, then why not? but if hes in for it for something elsee... then I guess you should drop it. but you should definetly make the try. |

I think 4 years isn't all that big a deal. My boyfriend and I have a 3 years gap. We started dating when I was 14.
If you like him, then go out with him. But if he doesn't respect your decisions and tries to take advantage of you, get out of there. |

Yeah, we really dont know the guy so we cant say much of anything except follow ur heart. Afterall, in a couple of years, the age difference doesnt matter.
Normally, at this age (17 myself) I wouldnt go beyond 2 years difference but later i boost it up to 5...then soon, age is nothing but a number (unless its in the 15+ lol) ![]() |

it might work but hey, most old guys that go for young young young R.Kelly status girls is because they can get them then leave. he might be just playin u. keep a guard up. And when he turns 18 and if he plays u, u can always just turn him in to the police

hay um well al of the above may be a bit confusing girls say yes and boys say no!
I don’t mean to be rude but what type of person is he? Geeky? What’s he like that may tell you what he may behave like if you were dating? Good Luck hunni and don’t be forced into anything you don’t want to do Peace ![]() ![]() |
