After learning what all those words meant, I realize that being made fun of while you were a FOB is very bad =(

but at that time I didn't know what all the stuff meant, so I assumed I was funny _smile.gif

Obviously I'm trying to say they may not get hurt, but it's still bad as they will learn later on

Well, I dont see the big difference. Foreign people are people too, Im foreign in this country. When you leave your country, you're foreign too. So, are you less of a person then? I happen to like foreign people a bit more cuz they always bring in something new to this static culture that Im living in.

yeah making fun of someone is not cool nor funny. but if you were really playing around, it would still hurt that person. if you dont want to lose a friend, you wouldnt want to hurt their feelings by saying hurtful stuff to them.
