I usually look at the sigs when I go along in a thread. Some of them let me know more about the person.

i'll stop to look at it if it's new, or catches my eye. i see most of them when i'm reading various topics so i just skip over the familiar ones.
i've never gone into a topic just to look at signatures, though. |

Not really distracted, but sometimes there are a lot of members that I only sortakinda know that I'll remember by their signatures. Ones I don't know by name.

i'll only look at something if it's short or eye catching...i don't pause to look at pictures though because i have yet to see someone breathtakingly gorgeous or something close to that.
