Recently, I finished reading a book called Flowers For Algernon. It's one of the best books I've ever read! Makes you think...and it made me a LOT more sensitive to...well.......everything.

I read it in 7th grade English... it was one of the only things I read for that class, because I actually enjoyed it. It's also funny in some parts too, like 'I wanna be a gen-ass'...not that it's funny that he didn't know what he was saying, but you get the point, right? @_@

Ya. I read it recently for 8th grade. It's a good book. It's sad that the rat died and pretty soon he will too? I read like the play version or something.

no, the guy..i forget his name now has a surgery so that he'll bcome smart cause his IQ is the amount of a 6 year old or something and hes like..30 or 40. and so after he gets the surgery, he gets smarter daily and these scientists do these experiments. I kinda forgot but i dont think the guy dies..he just gets stupid again later on in the book.

Yeah. I had to read it for school this year. I don't think it was the full version though. Anyways, I liked it a lot. It was really sad. I felt bad for Charlie. I want to see the movie.

we read the shortened version in class this year (8th) and i didn't like it. it was just... weird. i couldn't get into it because it seemed all broken up. i'll have to read the whole book sometime though, because i don't think the condensed version does it any justice.

i read it. i think it actually made me cry, or just depressed for a short period of time. i like this book a lot.

i heard they're going to make a movie on this, unless it's just my imagination. i think they already did?
