im not sure this belongs here if not please move it to where it belongs.

anyways when i was 5 i was a model for childrens clothes. then i had to quit. now my ambition is to become a model, im now 12. and i can. went to bumch of interviwes, i got accepted. one company which i REALLY adored agreed to pay $1500 a day for modeling clothes etc. but i had to pay $300 for the pictured like 700 of them. cause the photographer doesnt work with the modeling agency. well my parents didnt trust [for the $3oo] them so i had to call them back and quit. and i didnt mind, well maybe a little amd at my preants. im just 12 and having a job is hard to balence. i have my friends, school, and so on.

since im only 12, i dont think i should really get involved with the modeling job just YET. i mean i still have my WHOLE life ahead of me. should i wait? or should i take the chance?

Just wait. Your still young. Maybe just search around and find really good ones that are perfect for you and your schedule and your life, then maybe pick that one, or you can also quit and im sure when you grow up, people will still interview you and you might be a fomous model. Who knows??
Just rest awhile. Everything is going to be fine.

If you can get signed at 12, I'm sure you're gorgeous and you'll get signed again when you're older. Just take the time with school right now because that's what's most important.

maybe you should go for it.. because you seem really into it... i was looking at your profile and you say a lot about modeling so it seems like what you really want to do. although only thing i find weird, girls that want to do that usually have tons of pictures of them everywhere (sig., xanga etc.) and you dont. not that its a bad thing.. just means your not all vain lol.

It's completely up to you..If your heart is set on modeling then go for it, but if you still want to focus on school then wait a couple years,
If you sign with the company, you can always quit in the future, and if you don't then you can always sign with them in the future..
Make a Pros and Cons list of modeling now if you're still unsure.

Oh and btw, you mispelled tried in your sig (you spelled it tryed)

You should start, I mean, when you're older and more experienced with modeling, you could be signed onto bigger companies like Versace, Guess, etc.

Rofl, don't let a bunch of people on the internet tell you what to do. What are your instincts telling you? HOWEVER, IMO I think you should go for it. Lindsay Lohan started modeling when she was young and now look at her, she's filthy rich. And also filthy. =) If you do take the job, post your pics up later!

huh blink.gif please rephrase. i didn't suderstand that part. so you have to pay for a picture that is 300 but 700???

okay well to the answer to the last question, if you really wanna persue a career in modeling then i think you shold start now. but i think if you start to early that is it just a job not a passion then i think you should start later. becaseu if your presuing something taht your not really intrested in a young age then i think you shouldn't get tired of it early.

I think you should wait. Wait at least until you're 16-17.

If it's fun, then do it. If you think it's just work then fizuck it, you're 12, 12 year olds shouldnt be WORKING-they have child labor laws for a reason!

But hey, like any job in the future you'll need some past experience. So maybe, this is a stepping stone to a bigger thing for you? I'm not sure, just think about it. It's your life. ;p

i think you should look at different (reliable... so they wont cheat you) modeling agencies. but dont worry, you're still so young. and you're so lucky you're pretty enough to be a model! _smile.gif

I agree.

But if you are determind, I'd say go for it. Not alot of kids have a chance at making that much money at such a young age, I'd kill to be able to do that.

you could always do both, but don't push it too far right now. Focus on school, and since you're pretty and all that, you'll have no problem getting signed when you're older AND have an education.

u should do what you want and not listen to people on the internet.
if u think you're ready for a career than go for it.
if not just wait a couple of years

i think you should model during the summer & go to school like normal. or just model & hire tutor. i think you should model during summer and stuff, then after college you could model full time. biggrin.gif i was gonna do that this summer. but then my dad decided not to let me _dry.gif

i, personally, would wait but if you got the chance to model and make a lot of money, go for it. but, ultimately, it's your final decision. ermm.gif

you're young. you're still growing up, you have school, friends, etc.
concentrate on what someone your age should be..if you can get signed at this age, then I'm sure you'll get the chance later in life..
