I'm so torn that I can't even bring the correct words to the tip of my pen,
It's a double-dose of electric current that I get to face on this most glorious of days, June 25th, 2005. I get to celebrate your 40th birthday by myself, this year, And wonder if I would have celebrated it if you were still with us, Wonder if I'm worthy of celebrating it at all. And as an added side bonus, I get to bury your son, my brother, June 25th, 2005 is going to be a good day. Happy Birthday, Mom. |
