I'm new to Xanga and so I downloaded an already made layout that was avalible from createblog onto my page. The problem is that everything is all set and I can't make changes to it. I thought that I could customize the layout to how I want it to look. Can anyone help with this problem? Also, I use Firefox, is there any way to make my page work in both Firefox and Internet Explorer? Thanks.

createblog provides skins such as the one u downloaded. you can't customize the skins. its a done deal. if you want to customize take out the skin (the code that u downloaded).

nothing's set at all, it's just that most people get angry for changes to the original layout.

firefox works with skins that are nicely coded, preferably ones without scrolling or set size divs

First of all, I want to say thanks for all your comments and your help. This is the first time that I get replies for the questions that I posted. Thanks.

About my layout, it's a long weird code that consists of numbers and letters. It also consists of different styles of coding like HTML, JavaScript and etc.

So is there a way that I could customize that, in terms of font, font color, size, the scrollbar color and etc...I don't want to change the layout totally, I still want to keep the back ground, the horizontal scrolling but there is this one particular section that was written it and that was "the layout" section.

I still want to keep the person's information as to who made it and where you can contact them but i just want to change the font to how i wanted it to look. So my main question is how do i edit this layout?

Thank you very much!

It seems like the layout creator encoded most of the layout.

You can try customizing the font settings on your Look and Feel page, but I don't really know whether it will clash with the font settings in the layout code or not...
