I was at the mall tonight and I went to the Louis Vuitton store. The attendant was sure to remind me that "we don't encourage people to come in here without the intention of purchasing anything".

To which I responded with "well, I do have the intention of buying something."

I don't know if I'm overreacting, but this really hurt my feelings.

I ended up buying three shirts, a pair of slacks, and a wallet. I wish I could have bought back my pride cry.gif.

Well she isn't helping the company now is she?

You should've told her that God is watching.

try not to let it get to you. i think i can feel where you are comming from. i find that most people that work in stores like that have the tendancy to be rude to people if they don't see you wearing 1,000 dollars worth of diamons. [i joke]

my response to somthing as rude as that would be:

"Well, I wouldn't have walked into the store if I had no intention of buying anything now would I?"

that probably would shut her up.

oh that definately would.
i should remember that for next times use happy.gif
that has never happened to me before..but i guess i just didnt walk into such stores. the attendants usually just ignore me when im not wearing my 1000 dollars worth of diamonds.

I intentionally go into stores like that and snub all their crap. I'll pick a shirt of the rack and look at my friend and say "what is this? who would pay money for something like this?" and act like all their crap is beneath me.

I was raised poor, so I don't tolerate people acting like that. I'd be willing to bet that isn't a company policy either. That's a quick way to lose customers.

I guess they just want less people who shoplift or something. They're probably tired of nobody buying anything for days (which I doubt)

i haven't really experienced that..however, i've had people charging me MORE than what the item would really cost thinking i have more money than i do.

my sister was carrying a fake louis vuitton purse (nicely-made however, so it looked real) when she, my aunt, and i walked into a boutique on melrose avenue in LA. they had a shirt that said "jesus is my sugar daddy" and i wanted it cause i thought it was funny (don't reply to this telling me it's disrespectful or something please). i asked how much it was and the saleslady came up and looked at the guy at the counter and was like "how much is this..for her?" and the guy was like "35." 35 bucks for a little t-shirt?! i just looked at the guy and walked out..

i thought that was just..wrong. even if i DID have more money than the average customer, i shouldn't have to pay more for a shirt than others.

You should have said

"Atleast I can afford to shop here."

or

"I'm not the one working at this shit hole for minimum wage, now am I?"
