moving soon...-gasp- i cant wait. i need help for ideas on how to decorate my new room! :( its so tiny but i want to make it cute lol

this is going to be our floorplan...*1015 square feet and its brand new apts so we'll be the first to live in ours!)(just gonna be my dad and i) :D
..i've alireeady been inside this apt itself e_e my room is the smallest, of course..im going to have a computer desk, a full size bed, a dresser, and a nightstand. IM SOO HAPPY ABOUT GETTING MY OWN BATHROOM, though (i hate hate HATE sharing the bathroom...right now my mom and my bro and my dad all use the same bathroom and their hair is everywhere e_e im sure i shed too but id rather bathe in my own hair and skin particles, and no one elses if be possible!)!

~ideas for the room~

saddly :( i not allowed to paint my room. its ok...i like white walls...i already bought some decorations with my own spending money

-a martini mixxer and holder with pink glass cups with white circles on them
-a glass pink vase that does all this twisty stuff
-a candle holder that looks like a lamp and has light green beeds one it

i also plan on designing a simple poster for my room in illustrator..i was thinkthing different shades of pink circles aligned all symmetrically, you know? printed out on a cloth type of illustration bored..i love circles and light pink :D

i have lots of storage and shelves in my walk-in closet muaha so i dont think ill be worrying about that..and there are lots of other storage rooms too

i think im going to sell my old snow white furniture ive had since i was 1 too o_o, and get a black dresser and nightstand (i really dont know what im going to use for a computer desk -FOR MY BRAND NEW MAC G5- yet..the one i have now sucks though)

oh yeah i also want to order a complete new bed set that is pink! but i havent found what i want just yet with a matching comforter and pillows e_e help on a good place online to order that would be nice..i think it would be best to order the big stuff online that way we dont have to do much of the moving by ourselves and can just get it ordered straight to the new apt

(haha yeah spending a lot of money but im allowed to cause we're selling the house we live in now and my parents are spliting up, im going with my dad and my bros going with my mom and we each get to SPLURGE with the money we get from the house :) which is a really nice change)

hmm well it's all up to you, so think of a theme. and since it's small, i think you should put lots of shelves (including those hanging ones for clothes and shoes in your closet). and decorations do a lot for a room. so you can have like a colorful rug, chair... maybe paint your desk or something

WOW that's awesome that you're moving :) And may i add 24 hour fitness center? man, ur lucky haha. can i move in? Pool and heated Spa? lol that is so awesome. It's always exciting when you get to re-decorate ur room. Too bad u can't paint the walls :( but be sure to fill it with tons of posters and all :) teehee. I don't wanna really tell you how to decorate ur room or nothing, lol cuz you've got alot of artistic talent from what i've seen, lol so maybe fill ur room with ur stuff. I'm so happy for you :) You should take a picture of ur room after it's finished and post it on here in the pictures forum :) Oh, and yay for you getting ur own bathroom :)

i just think it would be cool to get some ideas since i can spend like..lots of money on myself *gushes* i have PLENTY of shelves an whatnot in my closet already..like every thing is already there. i want to get a new desk because the one i have is barely big enough to hold my monitor and its soo unsturdy and i spend alot of time here haha.

ooo that sounds really pretty maybe have like... flowy curtains. and mirrors are supposed to make a room look bigger. and put up pictures and posters. like this maybe

i would die if my and all my family lived in an apt (7 ppl) anywho, I would be excited to decorate my room
if you're going to paint, at lowe's there is this really cool paint that has gold glitter particle, it looks cool and it's a great way to add a little sparkle to your new abode.

Well, I have a small room, so, the main thing you need to worry about is storage. Like, if you have a lot stuff, you are going to need shelfs, or if you have a big closet, a closet organizer to put stuff in.

In order to keep a small room clean when you have a lot of stuff, you need to be organized. I've realized that from living in a very small room. My room never seems to stay clean.

make it your own... like i dunno.... what colors do you like? paint those in your room, if allowed. otherwise, get some posters of singers/groups you like and hang them up. also look for other things to hang on the walls, such as clocks, calendars..... whatever! hehe. just my opinion ^_^

Ok so I made a little picture.

I highlighted in pink everything I assume is your own territory.
So where the blue line is, that would be the entrance to your part of your home so you could put a cool beaded curtain (they have some at claires and at hot topic, cheap too!) And where the green line is you could decorate that wall space with pictures of your friends and family, maybe put in a bean bag, it could be like a waiting room for your guest to enter your bed room or bathroom oh and since your can't paint, i suggest getting coloered lights. see my mother won't let me paint my room so its like a white misty green but i wanted pink so i bought pink christmas lights and i hanged them around in my room and now at night the walls have a nice pink hue, when the lights are on.

i've got more ideas just give me a shout
