I won't spend over $20 on shirts and $30 on jeans. For shoes, maybe $60 at the most.. only if they're really nice and good quality, but I don't buy shoes often anyway. What about you?

My friends are so crazy. They buy jeans for $70-$80. One of them has five pairs of sevens.. $200 each! blink.gif When I told them my jeans were only $20.. they were like "Wtf? They sell jeans that cheap?" and I felt all poor and stuff pinch.gif But whatever. I don't buy all brand name clothing just to be "in" and crap. I'm good with shopping at department stores laugh.gif

Sorry if there's a topic on this already.

since i`m only 14 and still growing my limit is:
tops = 30 or less
jeans = 40 or less
shoes = less than 100

but when i get older and stop growing, i`m prolly gonna get expensive stuff & worthy prices as well. =]

It depends whether or not I have the cash. If my car insurance ($220) is paid for and my phone ($55) is taken care of, oh and my weekly spending on food and other things ($50) then money is no object.

The most I've paid for kicks were $300 for the Gucci shoes I wore to prom. I've bought a $120 Burberry shirt, a $1100 suit for prom [that I got on sale for 700] a pairof Paper Denim & Cloth jeans for $120 and a pair of Gucci shades for like $260. I don't splurge that often though.

hmmm... i have a variety of cloths in my closet... ranging from xpensive to really cheap ones i got from the flea markets. i guess what's important isn't relaly the price tag attatched to the garment but the actual fit and style of it. hm... but i beleive that there's 3 things that are worth investing depite the price- shoes, jackets & handbags. those 3 are the essesntials! esp shoes, if u wear cheap shoes, they'll give u alot of feet problem, like blisters, cons, rough heels..

If I actually got an allowance, I don't think I would need a limit.

I don't think it's worth it to buy t-shirts at $19, but I can't resist it and I just buy them.
For t-shirts, my limit is $25. Pants, $30. Jackets, just not above $55. Shirts I really want, just as long as they're not more than $35. For shoes, no more than $65. Even though I say all this, I'm actually MUCH MUCh cheaper. AHHAHA.

I won't spend more than 15 dollars on a top. Unless it's really nice and I have to have it. I wont spend more than 25 dollars on jeans, and shoes it depends. But I'm not going to go out and buy 100 dollar shoes. I'm not a shoe gal anyway.

15-20 dollars on a shirt...
25-30 on jeans.
20-30 on a skirt.

My cousin bought a skirt for like 60$'s... I mean it's not even covering all of her thighs and she's paying that much? I honestly think I coulda made that cheaper...

Usually up to $50 or $60 bucks. Nothing more than that, unless I'm shopping for an important occasion, then it goes to
100. [: I'm cheap.

I don't like to spend anymore than $1 on a shirt. More than that, and I just know Goodwill is ripping me off.

However, I will admit that I do, on occasion, spend twenty times that amount on a pair of jeans, and my shoes might cost as much at twenty times that amount, too.

I'll buy pants I really like that I know will last me more than a year for $50. I can't bring myself to spend more than $40 on shoes and thats pushing it. Unless they'd be combat boots. Those I'd buy if I had the cash. I'll spend up to $20 on a shirt maybe. I'm really a sales kinda girl. $36 skirt on clearance (making it half that price) when there was a half off clearance sale. It was my dream come true.
