As of late the amount of threads on fonts have increased in the webdesign forum. It seems as if though they just overrun the forum.

How about considering making a subforum in webdesign solely dedicated to fonts? It would clear the clutter out of webdesign, and allow for more.. proper threads to be posted, as apposed to font questions. Either that or maybe consider not allowing the posting of "where to find this font," "ehat is this font," etc.

Nope.

give it to the mod and they'll post it at the top pinned thread.

I really don't find the need for that. Yes, there are lot of fonts topic, but it belongs in the webdesign and it's not overrunning. It's fine. There hasn't been many topics on fonts lately, just a couple. There have been less topics made about fonts since the 'Common Fonts' thread was pinned up.
In addition, I think there is already enough subforms to add to the webmaster's corner.
Overall, I think it's fine the way it is.

I don't think there's enough font topics in there for another subforum.

Perhaps a pinned topic will do? And people can send in their requests for fonts there?

*shrugs*

I think that was what I was really trying to push for, since in the past, subjects for subforum are either too specific, or wouldn't have enough.

I'm just tired of having to sift through the numerous pages of "what is this font," 'where can i get this font," etc.

A pinned topic is a possibility..

A subforum on fonts would be unnecessary, however. I think they should stay in the webdesign forum. That forum doesn't have much traffic anyway. So....a pinned topic?? It may be something to think about.

No..there's no need for a whole sub-forum on fonts.

ehhhh it would be a waist of space just to make another sub forum just for font... It's fine the way it is now. mellow.gif

and they pinned up a topic on common fonts which is enough.

Why not take a little time out and read a few of the replies, and get the jist of what's been said thus far. :)

i think a pinned topic would be good! althought asking for fonts and "which font is this" reminds me alot of the music request stuff....not as annoying though.
