i can't seem to login. i type in my e-mail address and password but it'll say that i have to be a member to login. my account isn't deleted because i would go and search for my profile and it would pop up with profile and the "last on" time of my profile is the time that i just attempted to log in. for example i logged in today, the "last on" time is today!
is anybody else having this problem? |

Nope mine works fine. maybe u should check and see if u typed ur e-mail correctly?

I have this very same problem with Myspace i am able to log on using other computers but for some reason not my own i have even tried having other users try to log in on my computer they can not each time it goes straight back to login screen i have written to myspace no answer yet
i tried clearing all cookies cache even history restarting computer help help help i was hoping someone has had this happen before and could help so once again help help help please

this is happening to me too!! i can`t sign in cuz whenever i try i get this page where it says you have to be a member to do that and the log-in box thingy. it`s really starting to bug me!!
 someone please help us with this! i would really like to get back on myspace!

 Hi, I am experiencing this same frustrating problem! I think it has something to do with mac OS users because when this happened for the first time yesterday I was trying to log in on my work computer which is a Mac and then when I got home and signed in on my Windows pc I had no problems logging in. I followed all the steps suggested by the myspace help page (clearing cookies & temporary internet files) all to no avail! I'm moving closer to insanity at this point!!! While going through my Cookie settings window (via Preferences) I noticed that where it says myspace: myuserid, the status reads disabled. I wonder if this has anything to do with this annoying glitch. I have no idea what the heck the problem is though because my 3 emails and messages to the myspace staffers have gone unanswered. so much for customer service!! so, to all that are experiencing this....i feel ur pain! grrrrrrrr as soon as I come up with a solution or hear of one I will post it immediately! btw...I'm sure my account hasn't been deleted because when typing my name in the search window it appears in tact. |

i'm having the same problem!!!!!!!
it's really frustrating because this just started happening like last thursday! i'm on a Mac... everyone else using macs too? i'm thinkin it's a mac thing, but no one knows how to fix it?!? i can't stand not being able to check my mail!!! i've also sent many email cries for help to the myspace crew, and no response yet.

 I fiiiiinaly got a response from Myspace, but they might as well never have responded because they offered no real, substantial help whatsoever! All they suggested was to check that my email address and password are both correct (after stating in ALL my emails that that wasn't the problem) or to try logging in on another computer....and that was it!!!!!! I responded that they need to do better than that because that's horrible customer service! This is obviously a technical glitch on their end involving all Mac computers. If their too embarrased to say that they have a problem and haven't figured out how to resolve it then they need to let us know that at the very least their working on it cuz this is ridiculous! I like Myspace too much and have made too many great friends to cancel my account. I hope this works itself out soon. If I hear anything I will post it here.

thanks for the update! it's really frustrating... i've emailed them maybe 4 times over the past 3 days or so and still haven't heard anything.
hopefully they'll figure it all out soon! please do let us know if you figure anything out. |

 Hmmm...will have to check in the morning since my computer at home is a regular PC (the one at work is the annoying Mac).Hope it's all back to normal by then if not I will try Tom's newest suggestions (it's about time he posted some! geesh!) myspace wrote back to me.........they said to update to Firefox or Safari(as opposed to Internet Explorer that i was using) and it should work. I have found however that most of the time I am able to log in with Internet Explorer (not all of the time) so it was a problem with Mac and with the browser. This is what I know right now ..........Good Luck

My friend told me that Myspace are working on some problems at the momment but I don't have the logging in problem but the problem for me is that all my comments disappeared...

I have the same problem: "Welcome Guest!"
I can login on my friends computers, but not mine anymore. Mine worked just fine until last week. I am using IE6 on W2k. If I open a second window and view someone elses profile, The first windows will let me login to my account. I think its either cookies or javascript |

Setting my firewall to "allow 3d-party cookies" fixed the problem.
