When I see "grey" I think of the British way of saying it..(You know..like Earl Grey Tea)
Whenever I see "gray" I think its the American way of saying it..

So Idk..depends where you are I suppose.

I spell it gray, because "grey" doesn't work when I try to use it in a stylesheet or something.

Grey for the color
Gray for the name.

That's what I've been told, so I'll agree.

It's not spelled one way. There are variations people. Like the American and British ways to spell color (colour). Get over it.

I usually spell it "gray", but I write "grey" sometimes.

"Gray" is how I've always known it as. And I think when you type "Grey" in MS Word, it puts a red line under it.

Gray is a color.

Grey as someone's middle name.

That's what I think. But that's kinda weird when they have grey and gray with same meaning name.
