I know that they exist, but I haven't seen any so far. o__o Not that I want to experience being near one or sensing one near me, that would be very very freaky.

Heck yes.
I was in the school bathrooms and I didn't see the ghost, but I saw a little shadow passing by. When I went out to wash my hands, I'm positive no one went to the bathroom while I was in there.
I don't know if it's a ghost, though.

Yes, I do believe in them. There was a time when I was outside washing my hands, when something said "boo!" to me. I swear, there was NO ONE there. I swear! Oh, and there were other times, but I don't remember them. My uncle works as a security guard at a retirement home, and he tells me he hears noises, like he's hearing the noises made by ghosts of the people that died there. My mom works at the post office, and she told me that when she went to the bathroom there, she heard like a faint whispering, but she saw that no one is there. Yeah, I've pretty much always believed in ghosts. Mehh...or maybe I'm just like WAY OVERLY PARANOID. ph34r.gif ph34r.gif

Lmao. That's actually kind of funny. Maybe your school had electricity/plumbing problems...?

I just wanted to bump this up because it seems to be an interesting topic. I've always been interested in ghosts.

There was a graveyard somewhere in Europe and it was a very old historical landmark. There was also a manor next to it, so they decided to offer tours to tourists. However, on several occasions, amidst their tours, strange incidents would happen as they approached a mausoleum. The most remembered of these happenings was when a woman suddenly screamed and fainted and was rushed to the hospital. Nobody saw what happened, but during an examination, they saw claw marks on her face and down her arm. They weren't scratches but bruises. All she could remember was feeling extreme subzero cold, so cold that she passed out. Again, nobody saw ANYTHING that attacked her. The tours had to be shut down.

It's a true story. ph34r.gif

Omigosh. I'm probably the most naiive and easily frightened person, but holy SHIT this thread is scaring me. I'm incredibly superstitious, so yes, I do believe in ghosts. But not really ghosts... you know, like spirits. That type of thing.

I'm superstitious too. But at least you get some solid facts on this thread. Why is the fact of ghosts exisiting so indefinite when there is proof?

GHOSTS EXIST.

personally, I think ghosts, and seeing them, are just humans trying to explain somthing they can't comprehend. Its a possiblity, but phyco axe weilding ghosts walking around schools are ussually your brains way of telling you to stop watching tv...or watch more tv..with less axe weilding ghosts... I am really not sure how it works.. happy.gif Just um... Ghosts = not the right amount of tv? hmm.. no idea.

QUOTE(aud_chua @ May 4 2004, 1:31 AM)
i was just thinking back to my childhood days and i seriously remember seeing ghosts several times..!  even my friends remember seeing them in school...!

so... do you believe in ghosts or not?  wanna share any experience that's like.. a close encounter with the "other side"???

i'll start...

so like.. i was in school on a sunday with my classmates cuz we were practicing for a school assembly.. walking in the 4th floor of the old building, it was really dark there.. across the hall, i heard someone walking.. but i knew that everyone else was upstairs in the gym.. then i faced the other side.. behind the locked gate, there was a tall person carrying an ax without a head.. i was so scared, i screamed really loudly..!  then my friends came down, wondering what was going on.. they saw the ghost as well..!  i told someone to go to the 3rd floor and come up through that side... he did so and by the time he came up, the ghost disappeared.. there was no place the ghost could have gone!!  the gate was locked and the only exit was the door my friend came from...!
so yea.. i really believe that there's such thing as ghosts...
*

I can see memories.......I just moved here and I see memories of people like they're sitting in time out or hiding behind the door......it's true-I swear.
