I spell it as "gray", because of what my 1st grade teacher told me. She said that you can spell it both ways, but to her "gray" makes more sense because you're making an "a" sound, so it makes sense to use an "a" instead of "e".

I don't know, really. I use gray usually...because of words like 'stay' and 'pray'...Wait, then again..there're words like 'prey'..Um, I'm not too sure.

hmm well i asked my mommy LOL (don't make fun >.<) she said:
grey - is the ENGLISH way[[you know old school type, ex. Color- Colour]] gray- is the American way[[new school lols]] green- now that's just plain wrong but anyways.. haha you got me confused LOL
