font color off, ?? Options

i just made a new layout. luckly everything worked this time, except for the font color. i changed it to what i want. but it stays black or something.
this is what it looks like. if you highlight the blog area, you can see that the text is there, but doesn't show up

a color code is 6 letters/numbers you only have 5!
