Has your period occured for more than ten days? Okay yeah.... it was irregular and the doctor gave me pills to stop it. But i'm just wondering if anyone else had this happening too. Did you freak out?

mine usually lasts a week and a half. it's heavy the first few days, and then for a while it's like small little spurts every 4-5 hours..
it doesn't have consistent comings and goings either. one time there was only 2 weeks between 2 of them, and then i waited a month and a half till the next. so i never know when to expect it. |

I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE! in the second year i had my period it came for EXACTLY 3 MONTHS..my mom took me to see a chinese doctor who gave me herbal medicine (gosh, i hate that stuff >.< it was so bitter) it still didn't stop, so i went to see another doctor and she gave me these white and yellow pills to take..after about 5 months it started coming regularly

nope, my period has always been about 5-7 days. but, i know a girl whos over weight, she hasnt stopped bleeding for 3 months off and on every few days. she recently went to the gynocologist and they said it was mostly cuz she is really over weight
 so now shes gotta lose about 70 pounds.Oh ----- she cant have children either, because of her obesity i think jesse mccartney is hot

nope. So far, all of mine have been exactly 7 days. I'd be really mad if it lasted any longer than that.
But I do know someone who did have it for 2 weeks straight. |

i had my period for about two weeks, well actually it wasn't it was my first time and if there was anything i thought i was still on my period but it was just discharge probably... I'm a hypochondriac so you can't ask me anything medical 0_o

No, it's never lasted that long. I think the longest was 8 or 9 days, but there was very little blood on the last day.

i kinda iggnored the fact i was bleeding for 20 days untill my mom made me go to the gyno[i hate the gyno] but it turned out i had a ovarian cyst. =/ the removal surgery was horrible. |

Mine is screwed up. It lasts for ages, or doesn't come for ages. stops starts stops starts. I've "had" it for more then two years. well it must be about 7 years now (Started early :L )
My aunt's was like that also, turns out she had early menopause. I've had tests and shit done, turns out I'm fine, my period is just screwed up full stop. :L Not sure how common it is though. I mean, mine can go for weeks/months. I can go without it for months also. So ye. I hate it though, because you NEVER know when it's gunna come on. And when it "stops" I have to keep pads etc on cuz I never know if it's stopped or if it's just "resting" for a day or two.  And I always think I'm preggers. Spesh cuz it comes out f*cked up colors (tmi? :L I know but come on...) |
