well.. if you're looking for an easy way out.. good luck. You gotta work hard for them abs! Diet may help too.. running is supposed to be good on your abs. But if you want a lfat stomach bad enough, then try with a more realistic number for a beginner and gradually work yourself up.

diet is probably the most important thing. Seeing your abs is mostly about diet because you need a low body fat % to see them. Running will also help you burn some fat, and doing crunches will get your abs stronger. Hope this helped.

I run 3-5 miles a day, and do about 200 crunches a day (staggered throughout the day, of course). That seems to work fairly well and doesn't take up that much time--maybe 45 minutes total.

well if you JUST to situps and crunches, you'll have a strong stomache and all, but the fat will still cover the abs. So you have to do a mix of ab workouts AND cardio workouts in order for them to show.

I'd recommend running a couple miles a day (or just one if you're not used to running a lot) to get a smaller waist... or any other cardio activities

and then ur original 100 sit ups a day for the muscles, and maybe put in sum other ab workouts, here's a random website i found w/ sum

You have to tone your entire body first, in order to burn the layer(s) of fat off. In conclusion... do cardio too.

Pilattes, medicine balls, hang upside down from a bar and do sit ups. If you can do ten consistent sit ups from that position, aim for 15, then 20. I guarantee that by the time you hit 30 without stopping, you'll be chiseled.

^ dont give her an attitude, she is asking for help

Here is an amazing ab workout we did on varsity track and I still do now.

1) Do regular crunches- lie down with your back on the floor and knee's bent upwards. Lift your shoulders slowly off the ground while pulling in your stomach muscles. Slowly go back down. Repeat as desired

2) Do oblites- Lie in the cruch/situp positon. Put one leg on the other so the space inbetween your legs forms a triangle (if you need help with this feel free to pm me) Put your hands behind your head and touch the bent knee with your opposite elbow. Repeat as desired and switch sides

3) Apple Pickers- Sit up so your back is off the floor and your body is in a V shape. Move your legs like you are riding a bike while staying in a tight V. Repeat as desired.

4) Indian style- sit with your legs crossed (indian style), lie back and do traditional crunches.

5)Ward Melville Cruches- Start out laying flat on the floor (on your back). Slowly lift up you stomach with your arms straight out until you get in a V position. At the same time bring your legs up and into your body until your knees hit your chest. Slowly lower back down, but dont touch the floor. Stay an inch or two above it. Repeat as often as you like.

I hope that helps happy.gif

100 situps???...hahaha you make me laught...with that pace its gonna take you a long time...i do 750-1000...not at the same time...space it btw with push ups or some small running...

running is gonna be your bestfriend, try running for about 2 miles for begingers...than add an extra mile or you can do time trials...or 30 mins cardio how ever you want...

now salad and vitiams are gonna be you BFF not BF..theres a difference...i try to do is eat 6 palm full size meals...

one more thing...my cousin told me if you sleep 9 HOURS a day...you'll feel fresh and helps you motivated with all that energy you got...

if you do that, work hard, and never skip a day of doing it...trust me in 4 months you'll looked tone and ripp

The amount of calories burned by doing simple exercises is minimal, especially compared to an activity such as running.

Body fat, thats all.

You can have some of the weakest abs ever, but if you have like uber low bodyfat, then you can have a six pack.

i only run a mile a day. and then on thursdays 2 miles. lol. abs are a pain though. i would agree, get a ab video work out. it'll help. i have one, but it's short. i do it twice a day.

Well if you wanna get toned, you can't be lazy tongue.gif . I run about 3.5 miles a day and do some pilates every other day. Helps you get toned. Go to like the library or something and rent a video on pilates, or google it up and print out some work out routines.

This exercise is hard to explain, but it supposedly helps. It doesn't strain you too much or make you extremely tired, so it's worth a try I guess. You start off lying on your back with your legs sticking up as if you were going to ride a bicycle in that position. Bend your knees and lower your legs so your calves are parallel to the ground and your thighs are perpendicular to the ground. Bring your right knee toward you, while sticking your left leg out. Keep alternating. While you do this, keep your abs tight. Er..yeah.
