AND NO I DIDNT HAVE SEX in my whole life; im not like that. i know ppl that miss that many months..but im just wondering if its normal--because my mom was like oh when was the last time u got ur period? [dont ask why she ask me but it just came up] i said well i had it in may but before that i miss 4 mnths..shes like oh no sthing wrong w. u, u need to go to the doctor...i was like no i dont need to mom, its because i been chnaging my eating habits like on and off [healthy of course] and lilttle more xcercise like walkto&from school when mom borrows car/ so it is normal right? because since i been chnaging health/food habits

well u have had your period since 13 so it's not like your period could still be irregular. but yes diet, stress, changing ur habits can affect your period i believe. and since u have never had sex than you are not pregnant. hmm 4 months...i think it might be best if you go to the doctor just in case and see if something is wrong. i think you are ok though but better safe than sorry.

^ Lol. Congrats!! cool.gif

Agree with beautifuls0ul_x3, go check with your doctor just in case. But chances are, there's nothing wrong with you. Everyone's "regulation rate" is different -- for some it takes only half a year and others years. Don't worry too much about it. _smile.gif

It's very probable you missed it because of your eating habits but just to be sure I highly recommend going to the doctor, just to make sure. Once my friend missed her period 3 months and thought sperm was on her pad or something, hehe.

^Agreed. You really should see a doctor about this just to make sure. There's nothing to lose to just pay a visit and get some solid facts. Changes in eating habits and excersize habits do affect your period. I was told by my nurse that people are getting their periods earlier and earlier because the food is changing from how it was before and it's affecting the age people start having their periods. I really don't think it's normal for you to skip 4 months even if your health habits do change, so like beautifuls0ul said, CONSULT A PHYSICIAN.

it may still be irregular. i got my period when i was 12 and now i'm 15 and it's still VERY irregular. and it may be because of your eating habits, but like everyone said, i'd go to the doctor just in case cause you never know.

There are a number of reasons this could be happening to you. It could be because you are changing your eating habits too much, or it could be because you're doing too much exercise. Also, it could be a horomonal (sp?) imbalance, which requires medical attention. Either way, the best thing to do would be to see the doctor. Good Luck! biggrin.gif

im 13 and that happened t me when i was twelve and still is happening. i think i had my period the first time for the first 2 months; and then it stopped for like 2 months; and then came back for another month and then it stopped for like half a year. And then came back for two months and missed it till this month.

It's not abnormal. One of my friends only gets her period about 2 or 3 times a year. It's just the way your body is. You probably should talk with your doctor, just in case. Hope that helped!

It could be the more exercise thing (not that thats a bad thing). My sister has a problem like that and its from doing lots of sports and activities. It's nothing to worry about if thats the problem, but you should still check it out with your docter
