I bit my bottom lip, nervously, and I bit where your bottom lip touches your top lip on my left side. Anyway, now the place that I bit is extremely swollen, and around a tiny spot of blood, it's white. How can I get the swelling to go down?

Have you tried putting ice on it. Eventually though it will go down on its own

It's natural for the wound to swell a bit. This is your immune system trying to fight any infection that might have got into your wound.
However, if it continues to swell, it might have been infected.
And according to what you've describe the wound, i think it has swolen quite badly, hasnt it?
I think you may have to apply some disinfectant, use mouthwash or even see a doctor.
Hope it heals quickly after a while.

You must have bitten it quite hard then.
I think the white spot or w/e is skin.
Just leave it alone.

put ice and lip balm like everybody else said.

just make sure that you don't eat a lot of salty foods cause if u get salt on it then it might make it worse.

Ice, I guess.
I do that a lot and I also have canker (sp? o_O) sores basically all of the time, but I just never do anything about it. I just wait until it goes away.

i would try first to clean it...hydrogen poroxide is good (if it is an open wound) Oh and STOP chewing it... them try ice or a 100mg advil if it is extreamly bad.
then try lip balm
if non of this works see a doctor
