respect your elders... defenitely. i hate how foreigners (non-japanese) people don't really do anything even though they see people older than them in school and stuff. it's so unbelievably unpolite! i don't know... maybe i think this way because i'm japanese?

I think respect shouldn't just stop at elders. I think you should respect everyone even if they don't give the same to you. It's never going to work out so well if both are thining negatively about each other. Give it some room to change. And plus, I don't care how much you hate the person, still ... you should respect them. I

I volunteer at a retirement center so yeah of course i do or else they would have kicked me out, but it's not only because of that, i respect elders anyways because they have so much more knowledge and insight than I do.

I respect elders. But there was this one lady around late 40's, when i was at a fitting room waiting for my friend, we were messing around, then she told me "your not suppose to be here. alkdj blah blah". Stupid beyotch. But i do not think i was suppose to be in there. Lol.
