you can make do it this way:
- make the shape
- use the arrow selection tool
- select it
- turn it w/e way you want it.

what/where is the arrow selection tool ?

its like the arrow in the top right hand corner of the toolbar

When you're on that layer, press Ctrl+T. Then point the cursor at an endpoint and drag your mouse. The shape should rotate. Or you can simply use the rotate tool. Edit>>Transform>>Rotate.

You can also turn on your bounding borders (did someone say that?). Like when you have the arrow tool selected click the box at the top that says "show bounding box" and then you can turn it however you want....did you mean that? I Donno i always found out that was easiest rolleyes.gif
