this goes for anybody not just my elders. i always respect people, and if they don't respect me i still "try" to respect them and they feel bad. but yea if they really get on my nerves i try my best to ignore them and just walk away.

I respect them, even if they don't respect me back. My parents tell me all the effing time to respect my elders, so if I don't, they go crazy on me.

I wouldn't torture them, but I do respect them, even though some elders get on my nerves sometimes.
 Otherwise, they'd think I'm a bad mean girl who doesn't have any manners. Or that my parents did not teach me any.

it depends if they deserve my respect...i don't think age necessarily deserves that. if they are good people, then yes of course, but if not then i don't think their age should automatically just earn that.

-nanay/tatay (parents), -tita/tito (aunt/uncle), -lolo/lola(g-pa/g-ma), -kuya/ateh (elder cousins/sister/brother), -ninang/ninong (god-mother/god-father). thats filipino respect for elders. asian culture.. gotta love it. =P |

i show them respect but not the evil ones. i hate them all! i hate the elders that are sooooooooooooooooooooooooo mean and just hit you and make fun of you about your life...but still i have to respect them.

I try to treat people like I treat others. I try to love my neighbor. But respecting your elder is a must. I believe in given then receiving if you understand what I'm talking about. But I guess it depends for others. Here's an advice, "What goes around comes around." Later.
