i'm not quite sure if this is the right place to post my question. but i'm not sure where else to place it -__-;. my question is. how do you stop a song that has somehow been placed on your computer by visiting someones xanga?

ie. the song that was played on the xanga continues to play even when you exit the persons xanga and close the internet browser.

this has happened to me a view time and i'd like the find out where to go to turn the song off. the way i've been turning it off is by restarting my computer -_-. i'd like a better method. well yeah. thanks.

Usually that happens when your computer is getting out of memory.
If you're using IE, go to Tools-> Internet Options-> delete files (temporary Internet files).

Usually that should work.

i didn't know there were already two more topics with this question. sorry. but. i did delete the temp. files. and also the cookies but the song still played. so you think it's my computer and not some kind of code or something that can install the song onto my comp? is it even possible to do that? thanks again.

.... Check to see if it opened up Window Media Player, Winamp, any of those without you noticing. It sometimes does.
Also, which site is this happening on?

Yeah that happened to me too! Well I always try to drown it out with another type of music, or wait for it to end.
