There are a lot of honest and valid questions from curious, worried and downright scared teens on these boards. I've noticed that most questions are being answered with negativity, close-mindedness, and a plethora of people who only comment to say "EW!" or "Well, I've never even kissed a guy/girl, so I can't help." I especially hate the people who keep saying "You're too young to be having sex!" It is that person's decision, whether you like it or not. If the person has made the decision, he/she will deal with the consequences. It's not a "mistake". Kissing, touching and sex is FUN. Stop being so uptight.

These kinds of comments and replies are not helpful in the least.

It doesn't help that a lot of questions that teenagers are really curious about, and would really like to know, don't fit under the PG13 guidlines of createblog.

So that's why I'm putting up some links.

Scarleteen is an accurate, comprehensive website that offers articles and forums alllll about your body, and puberty, sex, STD's and pregnancy. It's a phenominal website and has EVERYTHING you could ever need to know. It's also relevant to the age we're living in. It's so far from old fashioned, and it's not your basic Sexual Eduation website, saying the same BS about STD's, wearing a condom, and "This is how your body works".

I found that the Ask A Sexpert section of the site was specifically helpful, answering all kinds of questions, ranging from "Am I normal?" to "Why can't I orgasm?" to "Will it hurt the first time?". Their only rule is that there are no "technique" questions allowed (ie: "How do I give a girl really great oral sex?" or "What is the best way to masterbate so that I have tbe best orgasm?"). The monitors, and the Sexperts offer accurate, honest, and open-minded responses to even the weirdest questions. Everyone on the board is really really mature. You will never find someone saying "EW!" to a question.

A forwarning: This site isn't for the sexually squeemish. If you aren't comfortable with learning about sex and all that it entails, then this site isn't for you. So don't come back here to comment to tell me "OMG!!!1~ tht syte is so tottly dissgusting!! eye cain't beleieve they talkd abt giving a boy head!!11~ Ur gross!!"

There you go, and have fun.

Yeah, even this thread on "sex and puberty" is still one person's biased opinions on everything ranging from prefering pads over tampons, and judging people who masterbate as "sinners". The author of that thread stated all of her opinions like they were fact, and I simply don't agree. Not to mention the lack of maturity (ie: giggling, laughing, "har har"-ing at every interval. "Yeah, you'll get boobies. Haha!" ...riiiiight. Real mature.

so that's why I linked to Scarleteen, because it's unbiased, open, and honest.

I'm not REALLY sure what you're asking, but if you're asking if the sample questions that I mentioned (ie: "Am I normal?" , "Why can't I orgasm?" , "Will it hurt the first time?") are actually real questions on the site, then the answer is yes.

These questions, and SO many more, sometimes about stuff you didn't even know other people worried about.

Uh, and Sorry, but what's the point in even having a girls' locker room if people just "send" boys over from the boys' locker room to "reference" a thread? Personally, I think that's silly.

I also think that the girls in the girls' locker room are WAY more uptight about what's PG13 than the guys. I'm not saying that the guy monitors should crack down or anything. I just think everyone should lighten up. Talking about pubic hair, underwear, or being scared cause you might be pregnant are all stuff you'd find in a PG13 movie. Seriously, what was the last movie you saw that was rated PG13 that DIDN'T have some kind of sex talk in it? And for most movies that ARE rated PG13, it's because of violence, language, or drug/alcohol references, not sex.

Yeah, I don't think any of you createbloggers are mature enough to handle sex, or even kissing for frig's sake. I'm gonna be a bitch and say, spend less time on the computer IMing some ugly dude across the world, and MAYBE you'll actually have kissed someone before.

jus' sayin'.

And I'm sorry, but what's the point of having rules when people aren't enforced to follow them?
The point of having only one "sex" topic is the point of following the rules _smile.gif
Yeah, that's silly to you maybe, but rules are rules. If another mod wants to change the rules for you, then that's dandy, but I'm keeping to them.

By the way, saying "any of [us] createbloggers" seems to generalize too many people. rolleyes.gif Please realize that you're not the only one with a life outside of cB.
