I've never shaved before. I wax. It hurt at first, but now it's alright and the hair does take a while to grow back.

i started when i was 12 .. i had to beg my mom for awhile, but she finally let me. i just shave once every two weeks .. well, until most of the hair grows back. just tell your mom that youll be careful and you wont waste all your time shaving and whatnot...

omg! I HATE shaving my legs. I think I started when I was about in 5th grade or 6th grade..? I don't remember. And then about 2 or 3 weeks ago I tried using Nair. YES! it does work! but um...it takes too long. lol I was lazy and I only did 2 spots and I just shaved the rest LOL

lols, i started shaving around 10 or 11.. without my parent's consent. i never listen to them anyways lols. you can say im a rebel. i got my 2nd&3rd ear piercing, started shaving by myself ;D

I was in 7th grade nd i was 12. I wanted to wear a miniskirt for the first time and so i just asked my mom. at first she was like "No, once you start you have to keep doing it",
but u could just do it w/o ur mom. its really easy. just take ur moms stuff and shave! |

Sounds like your mom doesnt want you to grow up yet. 12 is the age I started shaving my legs. Perhaps if your mom doesnt want you to shave you could try VEET? It's razor-less and works pretty good.

i just turned 12 and all my friends are shaving and i asked my mom if i can and she said to wait till im older. i cant use my moms stuff either because she doesnt have any. she doesnt need to shave. its HAIRLESS. my friends told me about nair and said that i should use it. but how long does nair last?

well i think that its okay with hair and all.. i mean yes it does grow darker.. and wouldnt that be worse? then u spend ur allowance buying more and more shaving stuff.. i wud only shave my armpits.

Well, you can either:
1. Go against your mom, shave, and spend the rest of your life shaving daily 2. Nair 3. Listen to your mom, she's gone through the same thing you have, so she would better. Plus, the hair that grows back is really annoying because it's thicker and uglier than before. |

I started saving when I was 13. I had like little hair where you can't see it. Now, you can see it. It sucks. But yeah, it's your choice. I can understand why she doesn't want you to shave 'bcuhs once you do, the hair starts to grow thicker & darker & you would have to shave every 2 weeks or so.
