I think it's cool.. I mean even though it's just a look, I like the babydoll look of harujuku girls. It doesn't mind me that they follow her around. I like how she's introducing a different type of fashion into the world. Gwen Stefani's pretty cool. :]

Yeah I agree. I love the kinda babydoll lolita style that they rock. I am a lolita lover in general. I could say more but you just took the words out of my mouth.

..i think its a bit weird how the harajuku girls follow her everywhere, and she treats them like accessories or something

I know right..I am surprised that Gwen doesnt have all of them on a leash or something

I find the h-girls a bit frigtening and they seem to be everywhere gwen is like they are accessories or something I dont like it. It gives me they creeps she is trying so hard to re-invent herself it seems like she is almost desperate, I wish she would just get back with No-doubbt already... rolleyes.gif

I think it's sort of strange. I guess it's what she wants to be known for. But I do find it sort of creepy how they hang around her all the time.

Haha! Why would you say that they look gothic? They're from Harajuku, a big fashion place in Japan.

Well, it's kind of annoying now. They're in like every picture that Gwen's in, and I really don't like the whole idea of them being an accessory to her.

I just wish Gwen went back to No Doubt and fast. sad.gif

i LOVE the harajuku girls in japan. they have such an awesome style. if only my parents would let me dress like them.

personally, i dont think that gwen stefani's harajuku girls look like actual harajuku girls in japan. it kind of destroys the image of the real harajuku girls.

dont just google in "harajuku girls" and see what comes up. cause thats just the extreme of it. ther are "harajuku girls" who dress alot like the ones that follow her around. but those are alos a certain style of the harajuku girls. they follow the alive and wonderland theme wich has a name but i cant remember it. the gothic stuff you see is called "lolita"anyway. as well as this the basic point of being a harajuku girls is going for the extreme. that includes make up as well. and to me those girls have gone preeety far in makeup.. anyway i think her harajuku girls are a good show of wat they real harajuku girls look like. though they are not at the most extreme end its still there. i think its slightly odd how they follow her.

The harajuku girls in photos with stephani look..............not-so-harajuku compared to the previous 2 pics..............those looked much much better! The ones with Stephani looked more like Geishas instead.......

I always thought she was obsessed.
The way she ignores them is kind of off put-ish. They better be getting Paid.
And what if one of them gets sick before something like the MTV Music Awards???? It'll just be mayhem-"*gasp*Wheres that other harajuku girl that stalks Gwen????"

Whenever you try to bring culture to America it either becomes americanized, another stereo-type, or both. (Slightly relevant-I just needed to let that out)
