This should be in Relationships. I think you should tell him how you feel. You friends should understand unless they are the competitive type in which case I say again you should tell him how you feel.

there was a similar post to this somewhere...oh well...if your friends get mad at you for liking the same guy and going out with him they have problems...if they get mad then obviously they need to grow up...

Tell him how you feel if you like him...if he likes you too then all will be well, and if your friends were truly real friends then they'd be happy for you.

Just tell him how you feel , it's not lke you can control who you like anyway. And plus they don't own him.
