I agree with you that the controller looks cool because of its futuristic appearence, but thats not my main concern. My concern with the control is whether or not its suitable and easy to use while playing games.

As far as the outside looks of the console, Nintendo's Revolution owns them all, but that will not factor into my decision of getting a PS3 although the price is $465(Better start saving up now). Playstation makes the more mature and better games hands down. Although Nintendo Claims this time around they will aim towards a variety of consumers, Im still in disbelief they will follow through on their words.

I just saw that Final Fantasy VII Remake Tech Demo. Why would squaresoft do something like that to me. Just making it a Tech Demo but not making it into a game.

Even though each one of these consoles have amped up the graphics, I still have to say the most important aspect to the playability of a game is the gameplay. I can still enjoy Final Fantasy VI on my SNES Emulator.

Last thing: I think this could be it for Nintendo no matter how legendary the system is. If this really does happen I will be really sad because console makers are slowly getting weaved out as we go, Just like SEGA and ATARI. Just my oppinion.

I think when Kry sees this he's going to do the same thing I would.

Nintendo is nowhere NEAR destruction. One system cant take them out.

Think about it this way, if Final Fantasy The Spirits Within couldnt take down Square, ONE system wont take down a legacy of good ones from Nintendo. I mean common, even the Virtual Boy didnt hurt that much.


The positive thing about the controller, if you get angry at a game, you can throw it and it will come back.

I think the system itself AND the controller are both ugly. And lets make it clear folks, this design is in no way OFFICIAL. It even says on the pics that the design could change at any time without notice. Hell, remember the initial pics of the PSP and DS? Totally different now.

the 7 controllers is not confirmed. if i recalled correctly, sony said there would be up to 7 devices connected at one time. some news outlets probably took this to mean controllers (understand this, bluetooth device != controller). 7 controllers at the same time would split the screen unevenly and too small.

if worst comes to worst, a third party will probably make some sort of adapter that will make the dualshock controllers wireless or something.

Xbox 360 can connect up to 7 controllers to their system.

While the unevenness is true, its hard to debate it when the Xbox has the same.

again, i have doubts that the seven ports in the bluetooth piconet are exclusively for controllers. xbox will be able to connect to your home theatre system wirelessly, so I suppose that at least one of the devices will be for that. so i assume ps3 will probably do the same or something similar.

Well Im sure, but they did say at the e3 press conference that you could hook up to 7 wireless controllers to it. So theres really no debating that.

EDIT: Ok, so I couldnt find the video I saw that said that. Youre probably right because as soon as I opened up my latest GamePro and read the 360's article it said it supported 4 wireless controllers.

EDIT 2: Ok, after watching about 45 minutes of the Sony press conference, I have infact confirmed that it can support up to 7 wireless controllers. I tried to take a screen shot, but it wont work for some stupid reason. But, if you would like to watch the video, go here and watch the video, go to 45:41 and there will be the shot of the seven controller thinger.

EDIT 3: Anyone else notice that througout all of the supposed PS3 real time demos, they were using a PS2 style(dual shock) controller?

well its not a waste of cash. like i mean your pretty much getting everything cheaper. i would estimate it to truly cost up to 1,300 casue i mean you have 2 graphix cards which run up to 500 bucks each.. yes each. and then the system itself is probably like 300 so i mean for all of that.... its pretty cheap. its basically a computer already. but i dont think its a waste. its just like not that many people can afford that. and i dont think parents will get expensive things like that to their kids.... just like the psp as sexy sleek and compact as it is, i dont see me giving that for a birthday gift to my kid. i would mostlikly think the nintendo is much cheaper than all the other ones... and they have a lot of people that use it...

probably when nintendogs comes out people will buy more ds;s ... like me lol.
