For some reason, all the custom module codes I've seen in Xanga Scripts and within the first few pages of this help forum do NOT work when I try them. So I just want to cover that base right off, I've used what scripts are out there, it's not working. It's nor for lack of looking through pages and pages of scripts and help topics. Have spent countless hours and time doing that.

What I would like to have is a custom module to put on the left side below the one that already exists that says "now playing." I'd like to be able to put as many custom modules on the left side as I want.

I'd also like to move the posting calendar from the bottom below my blogrings that I belong to and be able to position it anywhere amongst the custom modules that I'd like to place it.

Does anyone have scripts for these things?

thanks, that worked for one custom module but it puts it below my blogrings and i can't place it anywhere i want. also, i can't embed a media player in at as well. using the script for a custom module below the posting calendar though and that works well.

still need a custom module script that will allow me to put a module underneath my profile and above the blogrings.

anyone know how to do this?

Do you mean delete them or just take them out of your page?

yeah, that was what i was looking for, a script that will allow you to remove the blogrings from your page if you don't want them listed publicly so there is more freedom to pick and choose the alignment of your custom modules on the left side. _smile.gif

If you used the Custom Module code in the xanga scripts, it shouldn't have that "remove regular modules" code inside it, unless you deleted it..

but here it is anyhoo.

CODE
<style type='text/css'>
.mainleft { display:none; }
</style>

.... To diable certain modules, you modify this.
Replace where it says XANGAUSERNAME with you... Xanga username. It's set to disable the calendar, blogrings, and build traffic.
