the flaw in this idea is that if two members are posting as if they're having a conversation, considering that one person is a, one b, the post pattern would be ababababab etc, right? if a decides to delete one of his/her posts because of some reason, then it makes b seem as if he/she has double-posted and was replying to a nonexistent message.
i think the majority of us would just edit the post, but there are a lot of people who would abuse this power. if someone double-posts by accident, but their point was well thought out and written comprehensibly, the double-post really isn't such a big deal. |
