(wrong forum?? and i searched!!) who is your guys' role models? (famous people, not like your mom or dad, etc..) my role model is probably greg graffin (of the band bad religion) because he is a really good person. He founded a program for kids who want to be musicians..and he is really smart too. he writes good songs and sings very well. he has a PHD, and he even wrote a book!! i really look up to him because of this. i mean, c'mon, how many singers from bands do you know that have a PHD, and .. "is said to be one of the five leading bone tissue paleontologists in the world."??!

Natalie Portman. She's donated a lot to society and plus, she went to Harvard. I admire how famous she is, yet she's able to escape the Hollywood idealistic scene. You know what I mean? She's not constantly followed by the paparazzi and she does her own thing... Which is 1000000x more than I could say for Britney Spears, HIlary Duff, and all the other people.

Natalie Portman isn't someone who's all about fame. Which is pretty much why I admire her so much. Although I haven't really watched any ofher movies (except one of them ahha), I read some articles in the past about her and yea she seems like a real, genuine person.

I don't have a celebrity role model because if you took away the money and the fame, I doubt that most of them would be so "generous" in giving money to charity and for other causes. The real role models are the people that can resist the materialistc values we've become so accustomed to in society and make a difference by means of sacrificing or giving up something of theirs to help out others.

famous role model.. i remember i used to mention a few names to myself. hmm wow this is bothering me how i cant remember. ah bleh i'll just say jim carey even though he's a man and i'm a girl. he's the only guy with the best humor at least in my opinion and i wish i could entertain people like that without making a fool of myself. but that's actor-wise.. musician-wise i'd say ah just one of the hard rocking guitarist out there who knows what theyre doing.

Jennifer Connelly. Now there's a woman.
Accomplished actress (1 Oscar, 1 BAFTA, 1 Golden Globe).
Enrolled in Yale then Standford.
Studied English, quantum physics, philosophy, classical theatre and improvisation.
Fluent in French and Italian; semi-fluent in Japanese.
Interesting isn't she? And then there's her grace and elegance...

Aside from Connelly, there's Angelina Jolie. I think she gave Hollywood a better conscience. That is, one that extends to the world outside of the United States.

Angelina Jolie. She donates a lot of money to charities and is alert and trying to do something about the issues that affect the world. She is a beautiful and intelligent woman.
