Hair Gel Duration, How long does your hair gel last? |

I was wondering how long does hair gel usually last because I was thinking of spiking my hair and was wondering if it will last through the entire day. Also sometimes I get white flakes on my hair, what is that? I know i don't have dandruff.

The white flakes are what the gel causes. Well I wouldn't know how long it'll last, I tend you take off those white flakes that hole my hair.

I guess it depends on what hairgel you use. =/
When i used to put hairgel it lasted for the whole day, considering it doesnt get messed up from pe and such. But yea, gel lasts for a pretty long time. As for the white flakes, that's just dried up gel. |

I use TIGI Bed Head, and it lasts me the entire day. It's pretty expensive, but I care quite a bit about my hair, so it's worth it for me.

Is there anyway to get rid of it? How can some people have spiked they hair the enrtire day without any white flakes? My Hair gel is Paul Mitchell Super Clean Sculpting Gel

if you spike your hair, it should last the whole day...just don't play with your hair or get it wet.
 and the white flakes is usually the dried up gel...usually bad quality.

Well in my class there's this kid that uses gel and I always end up messing up his hair cause it feels like grass and it's so cool. It usually goes down after like 3 hours? >_>
