yea...
well, i got a B (yes, i'm a geeky guy, eh) no, i don't think it's the end of the world (although my parents do) and i really don't care. except it's a f---ing 89.4 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! d--- it. so f---ing close. in 2 other classes i pulled it off. but NOOOOOO i have to get an 89.4 bleh. i could have just not tried more... |

I got an 89.4 in math once last year.. I was so incredibly pissed off.
I was just sitting there... "What if I had gotten just ONE MORE QUESTION RIGHT ON A TEST?!" and stuff like that. I'm mainly making B's this year. It hasn't been a good year. |

i know a 64.4 would be more tragic, but still... it's like, all that studying i did the last 3 weeks of school and for the final, it was all for naught!

Argh.. EVERY TIME that I get a B, it's always a B+ and it's always an 89.5+ ! Seriously! And those teachers wouldn't curve up my grade! They ruined my grade point average for life. Stupid precalc teacher last year.. I hope she gets fired! >=O I'm glad I don't have her class this year. Damn, I had an 89.6 too!
 They're always 89.5% or above.. :angry: The teachers are all out to get me. And I don't even cheat in those classes, unlike the rest of the people in the class! They get 99% and always cheat, while I'm stuck with a damn 89.6%... I'm so glad I'm not in her class nor did I take AP Stats this year. That teacher is evil! EVIL! *sigh*  Argh I hate it when I try so hard and people who cheated in that class would get the highest grades... *sigh*  Yea, even though it's not a D or anything, it sucks when you're SOOOO close and yet so far away. *sigh* |

ooh i hate it when that happens! one time i got 85% on a test (an 86% is an A) and i was pissed off...its still a good mark but i hate it when that happens. for my english term 1 mark this year though, i was at an 85 and my teacher was actually nice enough to bump me up. thank goodness...otherwise i wouldn't have gotten my 4.0.

i havent gotten mine yet. we have to take finals first. this could either be catestrophically bad, or miraculously good
my grades as of now: band: no idea. probably around 96 algebra 2: 80.9 (yes! its a B! all i have to do is PASS the final to keep it) chemistry: 76.4 (miserably depressing. but at least it went up 2 points)(but i have to literally get 100 on the final to get a B so im skrewed)spanish2: 88.2 (f**k. i really need an A in this class) language arts: 85.7 (acceptable. its gone up a lot. considering weeks's grading methods, its not bad) world history: 95 (whee) |

Ugh report cards... My physics teacher gave me a 75 just because I wasn't able to hand in my lab the day he collected them (I was taking an AP...) Arg I hate him... My grades this year aren't that great (mostly in the low 90s...) but yeah I know what you mean. I hate it when I am just a point away from a better grade, knowing that I could've gotten the higher grade if I had just tried a bit harder or if the teacher were a bit nicer.

^ Yes but us perfectionists and academic-driven students still want that A so that we can get a higher GPA and have a slightly better chance at getting into college than those with B's. Of course, there some of those here who are still young and don't have the opportunity of taking an AP class due to their grade level.

shyt man, i'm a straight 3.84 GPA student this year but i dont think this report i'm getting will be 3.84 because of whack teacher who is soo fuckeen lazzy to grade my shyt. i dun even like her.

I haven't got my third term report card yet, but second term I got straight A's...just barely, though. I had 85.3 (86 is an A) and I only needed 0.2 percent to be bumped to 86...I went to the school musical and my English teacher bumped me up. =)

right now, i'm pretty sure i have:
IBH/AP English: B+ 86.6 (it's rounded up) damnit, i had an A in 3rd quarter. AP US History: B+/A- IBSL Psychology: A- 90.? (it's going to be hard to get it up to an A) Algebra 2: B-/C+. obviously math is my weakness IBHL Music: A Wind Ensemble: A Mandarin Wr. 5: B 86's are A's. how unfair. 86 for us is still a B. 93 and above is an A.

Pfft, I no longer care for grades all that much... so long as I don't get below a C average.. I'm content.
I remember my high school days... a B would send me crying in my closet. I don't give a hoot anymore, my GPA is screwed anyway. |
