i clicked it.. it asked me to download but i clicked cancel. but i think i have it, it's just not sending it to anyone. but when i go to documents and settings, application data/aim.. there's this screen name called bart cache. after i delete it, it keeps coming back. that's what i want to know how to get rid of.

Haha everyone was sending it. I usually never click those links, but the one time I do, it's a virus. I didn't run or save, and it still said I had a different virus, so I cleared my cookies, scanned, and it said I didn't have a virus.

Like each day I get it from like a lot of different people. And I don't think I know any of'em.
Wow, this kind of has a good side to it. >.> You can tell what strangers have you on their buddy list. :D

I never click links sent to me by people I don't know, but this way rather funny. I got the virus link sent to me last night through aim, but it wasn't on my computer... it sent it to my mobile AIM on my cell, where I don't have 'net access and couldn't have clicked even if I wanted to.

Yeah it is a virus.
I almost clicked on it because the msn version of the virus says "hey look, it's you! (virus link here)".

I got this on MSN. It's easy to get rid of, just run Norton and it'll get rid of it...

If you don't have an anti-virus program, then try this: http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/acti...n_principal.htm

It's an online virus scanner, it'll get rid of it in a jiffy.

haha my friend clicked that thing! Actually, there have been various different aim viruses... I mean, there's been other ones like "Hey, look at [u]this[/i]!" in the aim profile (buddy info) lol. Now it's one that actually sends messages.. more effective, but terrible! >_<"

I almost never click links unless my friend verifies that it's a real link and not a hoax or anything. :P
