I've never seen tinikling done like that before. I've tried it before, but it was in a much simpler form. |

I've danced that before! But now, I don't want to. Because the last time I danced, the bamboo sticks hit my foot really bad. So, yeah. I ruined the party.

tinikling is one of the cooler filipino dances...
but there's one called "pandanggo sa ilaw." THAT'S challenging.. imagine.. dancing while balancing a candle on top of your head and one in each hand.. >.< |

It was an admiring sight...until one of the girls lost balance of the candle and it crashed and shattered on the gym floor...
