firefox and IE

this is my xanga http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=cheersx

the layout works in firefox.
however, doesnt in explorer. any idea why?

this has never happened before and my layouts are basically the same. im just wondering because it looks horrid in explorer and good in firefox, and people use both

Was that layout coded in firefox? cause usually if you code the layout in firefox it works for firefox but not on internet explorer huh.gif

That would require splicing of two scripts i found, i just dont have the energy to do that, so just code on internet explorer and test with firefox and internet explorer until it looks right on both. Your layout doesnt look that complicated.

.... It works a lot better for most browsers if you put the stylesheet in Custom Header... Go check you CLAF too, you may have some diffrent hex codes up in there which you should change to reflact your layout.
In any case, you code in Firefox and test in IE. 'cause IE allows to much junk in your coding... You optimize for IE though.

That's why you only use Internet Explorer to make your skins. Or how else will others see your layout? In Firefox they disalign your skin & if you did it perfect on Firefox then of course IE would be disaligned..
