gossip.., how bad is gossip at your school? Options

1. that "gossip" website is extremely pathetic and stupid.
2. the gossip at my school is pretty bad. the rumor starts on monday morning and by the begining of school the next morning, all 4 thousand of us know about it. =\

Gossip isn't scarce here, but it's not out of control either. There are some people who always get rumors spread about them and some people who've never had a rumor spread about them in their lives. All of the kinda slutty preps always have rumors spread about them though; a lot of what they do is always known by the entire grade. I get a bunch of rumors spread about me too...but it's usually about either me going out with someone or me and a guy liking each other....yeah it's because i hang out with guys a lot, and i become really really good friends with a few of them, and we like hold hands and hug and shit. so basically, everyone thinks we're going out or we like each other. even my guy friend's best friends, who im good friends with.

so yeah, gossip isn't too bad here. then again i go to a private school...at my old school, gossip was pretty damn frequent. ahh, we were young then, though.

Hmm the gossip isn't that bad since most people find out all the facts before releasing the information but some people with no common sense tell rumors that are ridiculous that no one believes anyways.

some seventh graders at our school did the same thing. except it's really lame. "omgomgomg somebody pushed somebody into a wall and omgomg!!!111111!! these kids almost got in a fight!!!!!11111111111!!!!!1!" the majority of us just post stuff like omgomgomgdidyouknow that we had homework today!?!?! as comments, or like natalie does it: DUDESSSS. i have like.. the hottest gossip ever, omg. I don't really associate with popular people, thus I am left out of any gossip. Which is completely fine with me, although there's some occasional gossip that everyone knows about. My philosophy about gossip is "The less you know, the better life is." I'd rather not be stuck in the middle... ALTHOUGH if the gossip involves me, then.. forget about my philosophy! lol. But it never involves me anyway, so pssh.

Wow that site.. o___O Haha at least the creators of that rumor mill site are keeping things SLIGHTLY confidential, since they only use initials for the names of the victims.

LOL that reminds me of my friend, Kari haha. But she didn't make a gossip website. She used to have it on her xanga site though. Well I gossip, but not that bad and not many people I gossip with. Just two or three... i only talked to the people who i can trust. anyways, yeah there is a bad gossip around here in my school. i mean so what someone has the same name as the popular girl? ok my name is susan and there's this girl name susan. and she just complains and tells everybody that i copied her name blah blah... the weirdest gossip. well there were other bad ones that i cant remember. but mostly it was the asians. the topic is always about the asians. no racism. just fighting gossip.

When I WAS in High School it was pretty bad..Rumors where being passed around EVERY single day and there where people who made Xanga names like "Gossip_At_Dobie" or some dumb stuff like that. Thank God I never wasted my time gossiping.
