Ok so my prom is this Friday, and I'm getting all the final details together...except one. I asked my girlfriend if she wanted a corsage or not, and she said "It doesn't matter..." So I'm like WTF does that mean?! She didn't answer...
My question is: Should I play it safe and buy the darn thing, or should I not, and say I did lol. |

it depends on what kind of person she is. in the past has these type of thing happened? is she the type who really wants something but doesn't want to burden you? if so, then get her one. if she's not, then don't.

i think you should still get her one. even if she didnt want one, she'll be touched that you cared enough to buy her one even though you were't sure whether or not she wanted one.

Yeah, I agree. I think you should get her one. Sometimes, I say that to my boyfriend when I really want it, I guess to see what he does. And if it really doesn't matter to her, then she'll be touched that you remembered and got one for her anyways.

Of course you should. It would be rude if you didn't, she's your gf and it is a prom afterall, you should make her feel special and get her one. It's the thought that counts. This is like always true --> "I don't know/care/doesn't matter" = Yes. |

you should definately get her one. the "i don't care" reply usually means that she really wants it but doesn't want to sound too demanding at the same time. just get her one even if she doesn't want it, it'll tell her you care.

you should get her one..when girls say they dont care they usually r testing the person hu asked or dont really care..(but in ur case i think its the first reason..)and besides u should get her one in case she changes her mind..lol..

I'm that kind of girl. It just means that she wants it but doesn't wanna be demanding and such. It drives my b/f crazy too, but just get her one. The thought that you got her one will make her love/like you even more.

I think you should buy her one...after all...it is prom and it should be a special night for her...and buying a corsage is the first step in making it look as if you want the whole night to be special and that you care to remember the little details...I think the fact that she said "it doesn't matter" means that she wants you to buy it....but doesn't want to make it seem like she expects too much...besides she wants you to be the one that cares enough to buy her the thing...
