I'm graduating from high school tomorrow (yay!) and today I was thinking about all of the friends I've made during my school years. I started thinking about how many people I've lost touch with over the years, and wondering how many I will lose touch with within the next few years as we go away to colleges or just being busy on the workforce (or both, heh). There are a precious few people who I'm almost certain I will keep in touch with, and others I want to try to keep in touch with. Some I'd rather have out of my life, and soon that will happen too.

Anyway, I guess my question is how many of you guys are still in touch with old friends?

I still send Christmas cards to a few of them, or an occasional letter, but for the most part it is like many of my "best friends" from when I was younger simply dropped off the face of the planet. They are people with whom I exchanged those cute little braided friendship bracelets when I was little, which I no longer have either. Of course, being a military brat we haven't exactly had a chance to really settle down in one place until now, so maybe my experience is different from those of people who have been with the same people since kindergarten.
