resize the image first then add it to the banner
or just use the selection tool on your program and move it down more . |

.... What program are you using?
For Elements 3.o :: (This is probably very similar to Photoshop.) Image -> Resize -> Image Size (Canvas Size crops your image. For MS Paint :: Image -> Strech/Skew -> Only use the strech section and input the same number inboth boxes. |

Select the Deform Tool. You should see a red bounding box surrounding your photo.
Right-click one of the corners of the bounding box and then drag the photo out (or in) to the size you need. |
