Hey so this is my first post!

Anyway, theres this guy i've liked for a long time and he knows i like him.. and he likes me too. He hasnt initiated anything (asked me out etc) but im sure he still likes me. So this saturday i was planning on asking him out [question one: is that a bad idea?] So i was going to do somthing w/ him saturday..sort of an unofficial date...and ask him out. When should i do it [at the beginning? middle? before we leave?] and what should we do??? [where to go] What do i do after he answers... i mean, if he rejects (prolly wont) what do i say... or if he says yes.. then what??? plus, im nervous...

I've obviously never asked out a guy before.. so any help would be nice biggrin.gif THANKS!

firstly it's great that you're actually gonna make the first move. i'll never do that. flowers.gif

question one: is that a bad idea?

of course it isn't a bad idea, i think guys actually like girls like that, well some guys at least

QUOTE

i think you should ask it some where near the beginning and middle, so it won't be so awkward then before you guys leave you ask "so we're on for (insert date here) right?" then see what he says

QUOTE
and what should we do??? [where to go]

do whatever you want, to the movies, the park, or just go to a nice restaurant to eat. hang out at each others house. you choose. also ask him what he wants to do.

What do i do after he answers... i mean, if he rejects (prolly wont) what do i say... or if he says yes.. then what???

if he says yes then act happy i guess, give him a hug? i don't know. if he rejects just act cool about it, at least you gave it a shot.

it's ok to be nervous, if i had to ask a guy out i would be too. just gather up the courage, and you'll be able to do it. GOOD LUCK happy.gif

Of course not-the worst he'll do is say no. If he likes you and you like him, this may be the next step.

QUOTE
[at the beginning? middle? before we leave?]

Well...I would ask at the end and be like, "Well, I had a nice time. I'd kinda like to go out a lil more seriously...." or maybe you shouldn't listen to me- 'cause I'm greener at this stuff than you sick.gif ...jp

QUOTE
[where to go]

I would suggest the movies....if you feel akward you can just stare at the screen. Plus, it's not as much pressure as if it were some kind of restaurant, where you'd have to get all dressed up.

QUOTE

Just nod and say, "Ok, I'll pick you up at 8" like you didn't hear"No" tongue.gif Don't make the question too heartfelt-then you'll have a much bigger fall. But you said he likes you and ou like him so I don't see the problem.

im nervous...

aha-well cB's praying for ya. Just knock 'em dead

I hope this helped... flowers.gif

um...probably you should do it at thbe end...b/c if he rejects yuo from the begining then you will have a very awkward moment

or

you can ask him online to make it easier...and if he rejects you then say your friend typed that so you two won't be so awkward

i did the exact same thing saturday becos this guy broke up with me after he asked me out and he told everybody it was cos his mom made him and he told people he still wanted to be with me. so i took action buh` when he was walking to my house to meet up with me and my friends i ran away and they call me dickless now. well back to the subject of you

its sure NOT a bad idea. you'll be known as a boss becos you made the move, and since you know he'll say yes, its an even better idea

probably in the middle, or even at the end possibly becos at the beginning you just want to get comfortable first, then start getting onto the subject of going out or something, or just do straight out what i said "do you want to be with me."

go somewhere you'll both be comfortable. at the park movies mall or anything. wherever you guys hang out most.

after he answers just hold his hand, nothing major needed to be done yet. buh` you should always keep in mind he could reject you so you're prepared for it, buh it seems like your pretty sure he'll say yes.

i was nervous too. thats why i ran away and they call me dickless now.

question 1 i've never really asked out a guy before.. they have always asked me out. but if he definately likes you.. then i don't see why not! _smile.gif

question 2 i say wait until the end of the date, unless you know for a fact that hes having a good time.. you can try the middle. i woudln't ask him out in the beginning because well.. i don't think that's a good way to start out a date.

qusetion 3 for me, it usually depends on my mood. if i'm in the mood to just sit and relax i would say the movies, but if your in the mood for like being upbeat and stuff maybe you would like to go bowling or something? maybe out to eat.. or if you like to laugh and stuff maybe go to see a comedy act? just go to a place where you BOTH will feel comfortable & have fun together.

if you know for a fact that he won't reject you then just go for it .. but if he rejects then just like.. play it smooth i guess. don't be like "OH MY GOD he didn't say yes to me!" and start flipping out... just act cool about it and pretend it doesn't bother you (even though it might)

well good luck with whatever you do, and i hope i helped you! laugh.gif

i would ask him at the end... and say something like "i had a great time... maybe we can have more great times like this if we officially go out?" or something like that...
