Me and my boyfriend (we can call him... B*) have been going out for a week and 2 days now. He asked me out like a week or 2 after breaking up with his ex girlfriend (we can call her.. H*). H* still liked B* when he asked me out and me and H* never exactally had a great relationship... I said some stuff about H* last year and she doesn't like me.
Now alot of H*'s friends are hating on me and B*, saying things like "their the worst couple" "she (being me) is a slut" "He's a jerk" all that bad stuff. Their even leaving hate comments on his xanga chatterbox... He tells me he doesn't care... But it's really affecting me. I feel like it's all my fault that people hate him and stuff. It just really hurts me and I don't know what to do... I know I shouldn't care about what other people think... But it's really hard not to... Any advice on what I should do? |

All I can say is, that is so not cool. I mean, they have no right treating either of you that way. Neither of you deserve that. Just because you're dating now, doesn't mean they can slut around saying stuff like that. I mean, they can be mad, whatever. Teenage girls can be horrible blood-sucking creatures. I know, I am there right now, and it sucks. Middle School and High School is full of drama and "he's my boyfriend, bitch". There's not much you can do. He may say it doesn't hurt him, to you, cause.. He doesn't want to look weak in front of his girlfriend. That's sweet. Just, keep him. Don't let whores like that come between you. That may sound extremely corny, but it's the truth. Just... Tell them they need to end it because he's not their problem anymore. They have no business anymore. Hope that helped...

If you really do care for each other, than screw them. They are just jealous of what you have. But just lean on each other for support and you'll both get through this. All i can say is give it time...

woah ..... i dont think its your fault at all .. they're the one that is hating and that they're mistreating you guys just because he asked you out right after he dumped her.. maybe you should tell your boyfriend that you guys should cool it down a little bit and later on go out with him because you want your boyfriend ex to drop it and then you guys should go out or they would continue talking shit and that would affect you more .... i know how you feel.. everyone hating you just because your going out with someone that people likes / loves.

 Ok ok, so maybe you should talk things out with your B*. And if possible, try to talk things out with H*, no matter how much you might hate it. Just suck up your pride, and talk to her about this prblem, and who knows, you guys might acutally be good friends.

Completly ignore them. If they see it's not hurting you they'll stop, and your boyfriend can remove the chatterbox. That's not a huge deal. Other than that don't make any kind of contact with them unless you absolutly have to.
